Northumberland is a large rural county in north-east England, bordering Scotland to the north and the North Sea to the east. Its county town is Alnwick, while nearby Newcastle upon Tyne lies just beyond its southern boundary. The county is home to stretches of Hadrian’s Wall.
The landscape of Northumberland is varied, from the sandy beaches of the North Sea coast to the upland scenery of the Cheviot Hills.
Northumberland has a cool temperate maritime climate, with mild summers, cool winters, moderate rainfall, and frequent coastal winds.

1. After the consultation I will come back and measure the garden
2. I play around with ideas in pencil before coming up with a concept design
3. After the design is inked in on tracing paper it is then printed on cartridge and hand coloured
4. Designs are all hand drawn and colour rendered in crayons
5. The planting schedule with all the details and maintenance notes for the planting scheme
6. Plans come with planting schedules and a book explaining how the garden will be planted
7. Planting book accompanies the design to explain in more detail the plants used and their importance in the planting scheme
